BELMONT, Mass. (AP) - A man has pleaded guilty to the sexual assault of a woman, and has been sentenced to state prison.
Prosecutors say 35-year-old Zachary St. Paul of Belmont pleaded guilty Tuesday in Middlesex Superior Court to sexual assault charges in connection to the 2016 rape of a woman he was familiar with and was sentenced with nine to 12 years in prison, five years of probation and a GPS monitoring bracelet.
In June 2016, Belmont police were notified by the victim that she had been sexually assaulted the night before in St. Paul’s home. St. Paul had photographed her naked and shared the photos with another person. Police also found videos of St. Paul sexually assaulting the woman while she was unconscious.
