The Cleveland Browns traded cornerback Jason McCourty and a seventh-round pick to the New England Patriots for their sixth-round pick, reuniting the Rutgers product with his twin brother, Devin.
Before the teams worked the trade out, the Browns intended to release Jason McCourty. This prompted two separate messages from the Twitter account the brothers share, one signed “J-Mac” and the other signed “D-Mac”:

The brothers haven’t played on the same team since their college days at Rutgers. Jason spent his first eight seasons with the Tennessee Titans and last year with Cleveland, racking up 16 career interceptions.
Devin entered the league one season later than his twin and was drafted by the Patriots. He moved from corner to safety early on and has 20 career picks to his name.
The Patriots were searching for a new cornerback after former starter Malcolm Butler signed with Tennessee in free agency.
