PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - In a story June 7, The Associated Press reported that CrossFit’s chairman, Greg Glassman, planned to lobby for a bill to tax sugary drinks in Rhode Island. The headline and story should have made clear that while he planned to testify on behalf of the bill’s sponsor that the soda industry has tried to influence health and science policy, Glassman did not plan to lobby for the tax.
