MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) - A man is charged with murder after a North Carolina visitor was shot to death near an entertainment and shopping complex at the South Carolina coast.
Media organizations report 42-year-old Javaline Dawkins of Loris was denied release on bond after facing a Myrtle Beach municipal judge Saturday on murder, kidnapping and weapons charges.
Horry County Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard says 27-year-old Ryan Rasheed Bryant of Columbus County, North Carolina, was killed late Wednesday.
