SAN FERNANDO, Calif. (AP) - Los Angeles County prosecutors have charged a man with sexually assaulting a 5-year-old girl at a wedding reception.
Deputy District Attorney Ani Bailey says 39-year-old Jeff Boulter faces multiple charges ranging from kidnapping for child molesting to lewd act upon a child.
Boulter pleaded not guilty on Thursday and was scheduled to return to court July 31 in the San Fernando branch courthouse.

Prosecutors say the defendant pulled the victim into a dark corner at the reception in suburban Valencia on May 19 and was confronted by a server who noticed the alleged assault.
The alleged crimes are punishable by up to life in prison. Bail was set at $1 million.
