MEREDITH, N.H. (AP) - Police say a 3-year-old New Hampshire boy has been bitten several times by a fox that also went after three others.
WMUR-TV reports the fox was fatally shot and is being tested for rabies.
The boy’s mother in Meredith said he was bitten on his arm, hands, and foot on Saturday. An officer later said a fox had attacked him, and it ran after two other officers before it was shot.

The boy is on medication and is recovering.
