DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - Authorities have released the name of a 6-year-old girl who died after being pulled from a Des Moines lake.
Police identified her Monday as Ikran Noor, who lived in Des Moines. Firefighters were called Saturday evening to Gray’s Lake because a child was reported missing. They found Ikran in the water and tried to resuscitate her. She was pronounced dead later at a hospital.
Police say criminal charges aren’t expected.
