WEST ALTON, Mo. (AP) - Authorities have identified the victim whose burned remains were discovered in a rural area of St. Charles County.
The St. Charles County Police Department on Wednesday said the victim was 39-year-old Wilbert Irving of Spanish Lake, Missouri. An autopsy is planned to determine the cause of death.
Irvin’s burned remains were discovered Tuesday in West Alton, Missouri. Police have classified the death as suspicious and say the investigation is active.
