ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - Police in Southern California say officers shot and wounded a suspect following a brief car chase.
Anaheim Police Sgt. Shane Carringer says officers responded Saturday morning following reports of a man acting erratically outside a family member’s home.
Carringer says the suspect led officers on a short pursuit around the neighborhood before the shooting occurred. He didn’t say what prompted police to open fire or whether a weapon was recovered.
