President Trump blamed the special counsel investigation and “Presidential Harassment” for dragging down his approval rating on Thursday.

The latest polling from Rasmussen has the president’s approval rating at 49 percent. It’s been hovering in the mostly in upper 40’s for the past few months.

“Without the phony Russia Witch Hunt, and with all that we have accomplished in the last almost two years (Tax & Regulation Cuts, Judge’s, Military, Vets, etc.) my approval rating would be at 75% rather than the 50% just reported by Rasmussen,” the president wrote on Twitter. “It’s called Presidential Harassment!”

However, just the night before, Mr. Trump celebrated his nearly 50 percent rating with a thank you message.
