Rudolph W. Giuliani, one of President Trump’s attorneys, blamed Twitter on Tuesday for “allowing” an internet troll to access an accidental link in one of his tweets and create an anti-Trump webpage.

“Twitter allowed someone to invade my text with a disgusting anti-President message,” the former New York City mayor tweeted.

In November, Mr. Giuliani missed a space between words, creating the still active link.

Mr. Giuliani argued that another tweet with the same small typo didn’t create such a link and that was proof of a Twitter conspiracy.

“The same thing-period no space-occurred later and it didn’t happen. Don’t tell me they are not committed cardcarrying anti-Trumpers,” he wrote.

As of Monday, when the tweet became viral, the webpage had only a brief message: Donald J. Trump is a traitor to our country.

On Wednesday morning, the page updated to include a “breaking” news alert about Michael Flynn’s cooperation with special counsel Robert Mueller.
