HARRISON, N.Y. (AP) - A student at SUNY Purchase College has been arrested for spreading Nazi-themed posters on campus.

The district attorney’s office said Tuesday that 18-year-old Gunnar Hassard was arraigned on a charge of aggravated harassment. It wasn’t clear if he had a lawyer who could comment.

The Journal News reports that Hassard is accused of “causing alarm, fear and annoyance” on campus by posting multiple flyers during the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah.

Police say the posters apparently had images of Hitler, as well as a swastika, and were found in various places at the Harrison school about 30 miles north of New York city on Sunday.
