NEW LONDON, Conn. (AP) - Firefighters in Connecticut have helped with an unexpected delivery.
The New London Fire Department’s battalion chief says their crew just came back from a call Friday night when a man pulled up to the firehouse and said his wife was having a baby.
Firefighters helped deliver a baby boy in the car, and officials say both mom and baby are doing well.
The department issued a statement on Twitter Friday saying, “great job to all.”
The names of the family have not been released.
