NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (AP) - Prosecutors say a Massachusetts man was speeding and drunk when he crashed his pickup truck last month, resulting in the death of his passenger.
Joshua Hall, of Montgomery, was released on $1,000 bail and ordered to abstain from alcohol after a not guilty plea to a charge of motor vehicle homicide was entered on his behalf at his arraignment Wednesday.
The Northwestern district attorney says the 42-year-old Hall was driving about 90 mph and under the influence of alcohol on July 11 in Huntington when his truck flew over a guardrail and into the woods.
