RENO, Nev. (AP) - Washoe County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a fatal shooting that left two men dead north of Reno.
The sheriff’s office says deputies were called to a residence in Sun Valley at about 10:20 p.m. Sunday when a witness reported multiple shots had been fired.
They located two victims with gunshot wounds and evidence several shots had been fired outside a residence near Staci Way and Merritt Court.
One victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The other was transported to a local hospital where he later died.
Investigators believe the two were involved in a confrontation outside the residence before the shots were fired. They say they don’t believe there are any outstanding suspects.
