RICHMOND — Josh Doctson will miss practice Thursday with a shoulder injury, but is expected to be OK in the long-term.

On Wednesday, the wide receiver collided with cornerback Josh Norman in the end zone and Doctson hit the ground hard. The injury caused Doctson to leave practice early, though he later tweeted “I’m good.”

Doctson missing Thursday’s practice will at least give him two days to recover since the Redskins are off Friday. Washington returns to practice Saturday.

Asked if Doctson would miss the next couple of days, coach Jay Gruden said “probably.”

“Josh is OK,” Gruden said. “Everything checked out fine.”
