CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) - Police in Tennessee say a man with a church group has died while swimming at a lake.
News outlets report 37-year-old Jesus Antonio Castro of Douglasville, Georgia, was pulled from the water Saturday at Mac Point Beach on Parksville Lake east of Chattanooga. He was pronounced dead later at a hospital.
Polk County Sheriff Steve Ross says Castro was at the lake with a church group. Witnesses told deputies Castro was swimming and appeared to have trouble before going under the surface.
