WALLINGFORD, Conn. (AP) - Police in Connecticut say a woman walking on an interstate highway has been struck and killed by a vehicle.
Police say 56-year-old Sharon Ryan was struck while walking toward the Interstate 91 median in Wallingford at about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The Record-Journal reports the Meriden woman was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital where she died from her injuries.
