CERRITOS, Calif. (AP) - Los Angeles County sheriff’s detectives are investigating a shooting that wounded a woman as she was driving through the city of Cerritos.
The woman called for help on her cellphone early Wednesday after hearing several popping sounds and then feeling pain in her upper torso.
Responding deputies found she had at least one gunshot wound and she was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
