TURIN, Italy (AP) - Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic has had 10 stitches applied to a deep cut in his right ankle, putting him at risk of missing the final three Serie A matches of the Turin squad’s title chase.
Mandzukic was stepped on by Inter Milan midfielder Matias Vecino early in Juventus’ 3-2 win Saturday, drawing a red card for Vecino.
Juventus said only that Mandzukic was at “serious risk” of missing next Saturday’s match against Bologna.
