FREDERICKSBURG, Va. (AP) - A New York man who prosecutors say supplied large quantities of heroin and other drugs to dealers in central Virginia has been sentenced to 18 years in prison.

The Free Lance-Star reports evidence presented in federal court showed 30-year-old Tyrell Brown supplied heroin, cocaine and a drug known as “molly” to dealers in Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania and Orange counties over a three-year span.

Court records say Brown traveled from New York to Fredericksburg weekly to supply distributors.
