ASHBURN — Josh Doctson (hamstring) and D.J. Swearinger (back) were both limited at Redskins practice Wednesday.

Doctson, who played just 20 snaps Sunday in the Redskins loss to the Eagles, has “just been tight,” according to coach Jay Gruden. “Precautionary this time of week.”

Gruden said Monday that Doctson needs to earn more game reps, and that the place to do that is practice. If Doctson can’t practice fully, that’s difficult.

“It doesn’t help,” Gruden said.

Cornerback Bashaud Breeland (elbow), wide receiver Jamison Crowder (hip), linebacker Junior Galette (hamstring), center Spencer Long (knee), right tackle Morgan Moses (ankle) and running back Chris Thompson (back) all participated fully.
