LOS ANGELES (AP) - Authorities say a man who went missing from an outpatient program is back in Patton State Hospital in San Bernardino.

The Los Angeles Daily News reports 50-year-old Charles Henry Bowshier of Pomona was committed into a state psychiatric hospital after he decapitated his older brother with pruning shears in 1993.

He went missing Oct. 9. Police say they found him four days later in Ontario.
