TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - An Alabama woman is under arrest after her brother was found severely underweight and covered in dried feces.
Al.com reports authorities Wednesday arrested 51-year-old Lynette Franks on a charge of abuse and neglect of a disabled adult.
Capt. Kip Hart says investigators arrived at DCH Regional Medical Center Tuesday on a possible neglect case. The victim, a 46-year-old man described as mentally-challenged, weighed less than 90 pounds, had bed sores and was covered in dried feces.

Hart says Franks is the man’s caregiver.
Franks’ bond was set at $20,000. It was unknown if she’s represented by an attorney.
