BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - A southern Montana teenager is charged with plotting the death of a fellow student in a therapeutic educational program based at a mental health treatment facility.
The Billings Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/2rp7tPt ) the 14-year-old from Stillwater County was charged with attempted deliberate homicide on May 19 after a bus driver heard students talk about killing another student who attends Yellowstone Academy at the Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch.
Court records say a Yellowstone County deputy spoke with one of the students who believed the suspect was serious about killing another student. The bus driver said one student thought it was a prank, although she told an investigator the suspect is a “bully.”
