LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities say a Clark County inmate has died after being taken to a hospital for unknown injuries.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports (https://bit.ly/2n3QkbR) that police Lt. David Gordon says the man was taken from the Clark County Detention Center on Wednesday and transported to an area hospital.
He died hours later.
It is unclear what caused the inmate’s injuries. Police have not released further details.
The coroner’s office will identify the inmate once his family has been notified.
