CROFTON, Md. (AP) - Anne Arundel County police are searching for a man wanted on murder charges after his girlfriend’s death.
Police said in a statement that officers responding to a domestic violence call at a Crofton home on Sunday found 28-year-old Jhalandia Butler suffering from apparent trauma. She was pronounced dead. Police say an autopsy will determine the cause and manner of Butler’s death.
Police say their investigation revealed that 38-year-old Ryan Hollebon fled on foot before officers arrived, but they were not able to find him. Police say detectives have obtained a warrant charging Hollebon with first- and second-degree murder, assault and a weapons charge.
Police are asking anyone who comes in contact with Hollebon or has information about his whereabouts to call 911 immediately.
