GREENSBURG, Pa. (AP) - Two western Pennsylvania men have pleaded guilty to third-degree murder and conspiracy in a shooting death during a botched robbery more than four years ago.
Twenty-three-year-old Joshua Stepoli and 23-year-old Antoine Hairston were to go on trial next week in Westmoreland County in the December 2012 killing of 36-year-old Chris Fincik in his Monessen home.
Prosecutors said they entered the pleas Friday as part of an agreement calling for 10- to 20-year terms.
The two weren’t charged until 22-year-old Earl Pinkney pleaded guilty to third-degree murder in 2015 and identified them as participants in the crime.
Twenty-three-year-old Chalsee Hughes, Pinkney’s girlfriend, was accused of buying the bullets used in the slaying. She was acquitted of murder but convicted of attempted robbery and conspiracy and sentenced to 4½ to nine years.
