NEW YORK (AP) - Police in New York City are investigating the death of a four-month-old boy.
Authorities tell the Daily News (https://nydn.us/2nyOA9C ) the infant was rushed to Brooklyn Hospital around 6:15 p.m. Tuesday after he was found unresponsive in a Brooklyn apartment on South 9th Street. The boy, identified by police late Tuesday night as Shabsie Tabak, was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The New York Police Department says officers were told by hospital staff that the infant was brought to the hospital by Hatzolah, a volunteer ambulance service, along with his 23-year-old mother.
The medical examiner will determine the cause of death. An investigation is ongoing.
