President Trump has declined the Washington Nationals’ invitation to throw out the ceremonial first pitch Monday at the team’s home opener against Miami.

The White House cited a scheduling conflict, according to the Nationals, as the reason for declining the invitation. The Nationals have not said who will throw out the first pitch.

The Nationals open the 2017 season with a 1:05 p.m. start against the Marlins.
