WEST FARGO, N.D. (AP) - A Chicago man is accused of shooting a woman while she begged for her life inside a West Fargo apartment complex
Twenty-six-year-old David White Jr. is charged with attempted murder and reckless endangerment. He is being held in the Cass County Jail.
Officers responded to a report of disturbance about 12:20 a.m. Sunday and found the victim in the parking lot with two gunshot wounds. Her condition is not known.
KFGO Radio reports that White and the victim know one another. Authorities say there were children inside the apartment during the shooting.
White’s court-appointed attorney, Monty Mertz, had not seen details of the case and had no comment.
