CLOVIS, N.M. (AP) - A Clovis man has been sentenced to 11 years in prison in a kidnapping case in New Mexico.
Prosecutors say 28-year-old Robert Sena will have to serve at least 85 percent of the sentence before being considered for parole.
Sena was sentenced Tuesday after a plea hearing on felony charges of kidnapping, aggravated battery against a household member and aggravated fleeing a law enforcement officer.
Authorities say Sena led Clovis police last April on a vehicle pursuit that reached speeds of more than 90 mph before he crashed.
A woman was found bleeding from multiple stab wounds inside the vehicle.
Police say Sena had gone to the victim’s home, kicked in the back door and threatened the residents with a gun and a knife before the victim’s brother was stabbed.
