SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - A man was in critical condition on Wednesday night after crashing a paraglider in Utah.
Hikers witnessed the paraglider go down, called 911, and then hiked toward the crash, which was near the Living Room trail.
Rescuers carried the man partway down the mountain to a safe place for a helicopter to land.
He was taken to the University of Utah Hospital where he remained Wednesday night.
