Police say Mason City man stabbed last week has died

MASON CITY, Iowa (AP) - Police say a Mason City man who was stabbed last week has died.

Mason City police announced Monday that 23-year-old Wraymond Leon Todd died Sunday at a hospital.

The Globe Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/2swBDNT) Todd was stabbed May 30 in Mason City.

Police have arrested 20-year-old Braedon Steven Bowers, of Mason City, and charged him with attempted murder. Police say that charge will likely be changed since Todd has died.

Bowers is being held in the Cerro Gordo County jail. A hearing is scheduled Friday.
