As part of the MLB’s “Players Weekend,” players will be allowed to don nicknames on the back of their jerseys, Yahoo’s Jeff Passan reported Wednesday.

Players Weekend will take place Aug.25-27. Players will also be allowed to wear fluorescent-colored shoes and a patch to dedicate a cause or someone in their development.

Other leagues, such as the XFL and the NBA, have also given the players the option to wear nicknames on occasion. The Miami Heat and Brooklyn Nets played a game in 2014 where they were allowed to wear nicknames on their jerseys.

Fans can purchase jerseys from Players Weekend with proceeds going to charity.
