BALTIMORE (AP) - Baltimore police say a woman who called to report that her son had been bullied and his bike seat stolen was fatally shot a short time later.
Officials say 37-year-old Charmaine Wilson called police Monday night after one son was bullied and another son assaulted after confronting the people he believed responsible.
The Baltimore Sun reports (https://bsun.md/2dEzJTC ) that after responding officers left, an unknown suspect shot Wilson, a mother of eight.
About four hours after Wilson was killed in West Baltimore, 27-year-old Sebastian Dvorak, a local bartender, was fatally shot on Boston Street in Canton during an apparent robbery.
Dvorak and Wilson were among 12 people shot, six of them fatally, between Monday night and Tuesday afternoon.
