SISSONVILLE, W.Va. (AP) - David Bradshaw earned his ninth West Virginia Open title Friday, shooting a 2-under-par 71 for a three-stroke victory over Davey Jude.

Bradshaw finished at 12-under 201 at Edgewood Country Club to earn the $6,500 first-place check.

Jude shot 70 and finished at 9 under.



Thirteen-time West Virginia Amateur champion Pat Carter finished third at 8 under.

The late Sam Snead is the standard bearer with 17 state Open wins.
