JERSEY SHORE, Pa. (AP) - A learning support teacher in Pennsylvania has been accused of touching his students inappropriately.

Court records show that 36-year-old Samuel Rothrock Jr. is accused of harassing six female students and indecently assaulting a teacher’s aide at Jersey Shore High School, where he has worked for nearly a decade. WNEP-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2viKYug ) many of Rothrock’s students have learning disabilities.

According to officials, students say he began acting strangely in early May, inappropriately hugging and touching the thighs of students. The teacher’s aide says Rothrock ran his hand under her dress.

Rothrock told investigators that he had been in treatment for alcohol issues, and had checked himself into rehab after the incidents.

Rothrock has no defense attorney listed in online court records.
