PAMELIA, N.Y. (AP) - State police have arrested a 25-year-old northern New York man in connection with the shooting death in May of another man.
Sammy Brown, of Philadelphia, New York, is charged with second-degree murder. He was arraigned Friday in Pamelia Town Court and remanded without bail to the Jefferson County Public Safety Building.
The murder charge stems from the death of 20-year-old Tyler Johnson. It couldn’t immediately be determined if Brown has an attorney.

Troopers say the shooting in the town of Pamelia (puh-MEEL’-yuh) was reported in a 911 call to county emergency dispatchers. Johnson, who had recently moved into a home in the area, later died at a Syracuse hospital. Police said they believe he was targeted.
Pamelia is 70 miles (112 kilometers) north of Syracuse.
