SUITLAND, Md. (AP) - Police in Maryland are investigating after two people were fatally shot in Suitland.
Prince George’s County police said in a statement that officers were called Sunday to the 4600 block of Silver Hill Road for the report of a double shooting. Police say one man was pronounced dead on the scene and a second was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police identified the victims as 22-year-old Courtney Simms of Temple Hills and 23-year-old Anthony Douglas in Marlow Heights.
