HATTIESBURG, Miss. (AP) - A Forrest County grand jury has brought felony negligence charges against the grandfather and step-grandmother of a 9-month-old girl who died after being hit and suffocated - allegedly by her mother’s boyfriend.
The Hattiesburg American (https://hatne.ws/2jVJC1i ) reports that 52-year-old Kelly Joe Csaszar (SEE-zer) and 42-year-old Michelle Stutes Csaszar each faces one count of felony negligence in Jada Freeman’s death.
The baby died at their home in Carnes in December 2015.
Kelly Csaszar’s daughter, Kaily Rose Csaszar, was charged earlier with manslaughter and felony neglect. Her 29-year-old boyfriend, Ryan Dykes, of Beaumont, is jailed on charges of capital murder and felony child abuse.
The Csaszars remain free on bond.
Trial is scheduled March 27 for the elder Csaszars.
Dykes and Kaily Csaszar face trial on April 3.
