BREMERTON, Wash. (AP) - Authorities say a burned out pickup truck containing the body of the fourth victim of a quadruple homicide was discovered at a tree farm in the southwestern part of the Kitsap Peninsula.
The Kitsap Sun reports (https://goo.gl/a2RKUv ) that investigators say someone walking in the area of the tree farm on Sunday found the burned out truck containing remains later identified as those of 43-year-old John Careaga.
Careaga’s wife, Christale Lynn Careaga, and two teenage sons in their blended family were found dead in the family’s burning home near Lake Tahuyeh on Friday.
Sheriff’s officials on Wednesday asked people who live near the tree farm if they saw anything suspicious over the weekend. They’re also asking those who live on certain roads and who have street-facing surveillance cameras to contact investigators.
