NEW ORLEANS (AP) - The second victim killed in a shooting outside a New Orleans high school has been identified.
The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office on Thursday identified the victim as 19-year-old Wynston Jackson.
Jackson and 18-year-old Lawrence Williams IV were gunned down about 8 p.m. Tuesday in a car parked outside Edna Karr High School. Police said the victims went to the school to see a basketball game but were turned away because the crowd was at capacity.
The young men were in a car when a silver sedan drove by and the occupants fired. Both victims had multiple bullet wounds.
Police Superintendent Michael Harrison has said investigators don’t have a motive or suspects in the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to contact authorities.
