2 bodies found inside Berkeley apartment

BERKELEY, Calif. (AP) - Police are investigating the deaths of two people whose bodies were found inside a Berkeley apartment.

KTVU reports (https://bit.ly/2l4YRKj) officers and firefighters were called to the Berkeley apartment Saturday for a medical rescue.

The two people were pronounced dead in the apartment.

Police say they are investigating the deaths as suspicious and are looking into whether toxic substances or gases killed the pair.

Last month, a man and a woman and their two cats died of carbon monoxide poisoning inside their Berkeley apartment.
