SANDY, Utah (AP) - Police in Sandy say a woman who was struck by a car in a crosswalk near the South Towne Expo Center has died from her injuries.

They say 46-year-old Stephanie Burton was struck along with two other adults on Thursday evening.

The other two adults have been released from the hospital and are recovering from their injuries.

Police say the three adults were headed to the Festival of Trees when they were hit.

They say a 17-year-old driver allegedly failed to stop at the crossing signal’s red light.
