FARGO, N.D. (AP) - A man accused of dealing fentanyl in the vicinity of a Fargo school has been sentenced to five years in prison.
Caleb Ross pleaded guilty in April to possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school.
Authorities say Ross sold at least 100 grams of fentanyl, a powerful painkiller considered to be 50 times more potent than street heroin.

U.S. District Judge Ralph Erickson says Ross must also serve three years of supervised release.
Ross faced a maximum sentence of 40 years.
