Colorado law says inmates who are allowed to participate in a “day reporting program” like work-release “shall receive one day credit against their sentences for each day spent in such programs.”

Wilkerson was convicted in May 2016 of sexually assaulting a helpless victim and unlawful sexual contact for raping a University of Colorado student he met in 2014 at a party in Boulder.
