MONROE, N.C. (AP) - A man’s body has been found in a pond in North Carolina.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office told local media outlets the body was found around 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Monroe.
A neighbor had pulled the man from the water before deputies arrived. Officers performed CPR on the man but were unable to revive him.
