SAN DIEGO (AP) - Authorities say three people have died and a fourth was seriously injured when their car tumbled off a freeway in San Diego.
The California Highway Patrol says it happened at about 1:15 p.m. Thursday on Interstate 15 near the Rancho Bernardo area.
Authorities say the car may have been doing 100 mph when it went out of control, smashed through a guardrail and rolled down an embankment.
Two people died at the scene and a third died at a hospital.
