BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) - Montana State University students have overwhelmingly approved increasing student fees to improve campus recreation facilities.
The Bozeman Daily Chronicle reports (https://bit.ly/2oD9TaN ) that the student recreation facilities project passed with 62.5 percent of the vote this week.
The three-part recreation project would impose a new fee of $16.64 per semester to install an artificial turf field for outdoor club sports, use $500,000 in existing fees to expand the rock-climbing wall and raise the fee for student clubs by $3 per semester.
The fee increases still must be approved by the Montana Board of Regents.
